TUNAL GROUP × Thomas Guillemette01 / THE PROMOTION. THE SHARED PROJECT.
Tunal Group: building something to pass on.
The collaboration, through the fighter’s eyes.
Thomas is a co-founder of Tunal Group and has been part of the project from the beginning. He wants to create opportunities and support that match fighters’ ambitions. His experience inside the ring directly informs his perspective as a promoter.
With the team, he advocates an individual approach: understanding each person’s background, difficulties and goals, then helping them move forward in boxing and in life. Daily commitment and human relationships are central to his vision.
His ambition is to build Tunal Group into a leading international promotion. For a brand, supporting him means connecting with a boxer and entrepreneur, and with a collective project committed to developing careers, producing compelling events and building lasting relationships.

Experience in the ring
A journey between Thailand and the United States that informs his work with fighters.

02 / BEHIND THE GLOVES
Near Nantes, a different future was taking shape.
Thomas grew up in the countryside near Nantes with his parents and sister. He describes a happy childhood, without inventing hardships. Sport was already a major part of his life: almost ten years of judo and seven years of table tennis, followed by engineering studies in Paris.
During his studies, he realised that the future taking shape did not suit him. He turned towards online business, travel and entrepreneurship. Meeting Barış Erdoğan introduced him to boxing. He started at twenty and committed more seriously at twenty-one.
The ring demanded something new. After several years away from regular sport, nothing came easily. He enjoyed that difficulty, the need to learn and to push his limits. Boxing became a passion, while building businesses remained central to his identity.
Leaving his family, living abroad and facing opponents on their home ground were choices he made deliberately. He wants to be known for embracing a challenge, bringing the same energy to his fights, travels and work as a promoter.
03 / THE JOURNEY
The United States: tested in the ring.
Without competing as an amateur, Thomas made his professional debut in Thailand on 20 March 2022. He remembers winning a four-round decision against a durable opponent. In 2023, he reports gaining experience through around thirty exhibition bouts in Krabi, separate from his professional record.
His American journey took him to Orlando against Sean Mason and Houston against Giovanni Marquez in 2024. Those fights introduced him to new stages and experienced opponents. For Thomas, the United States is where his boxing development gained another dimension.
The fight against Nick Molina remains his strongest reference point. Thomas recalls eight rounds in a US main event, ending in a decision loss. Beyond the result, he saw proof that he could hold his own in a demanding contest. The full fight is featured on this page.
He also discusses difficult periods: demanding preparations and a shin injury before facing Derrick Whitley Jr. He feels he underestimated an injury that restricted his movement. His account makes room for setbacks as well as progress.
An orthodox boxer, Thomas describes his approach as powerful and composed, inspired by Mexican-style boxing. His next ambition is to return, pursue a belt and face good opponents. He wants to be remembered for his commitment in the ring and his willingness to improve.
