Raised in Dar es Salaam, Anuary first learned mechanical work in a garage. A neighbourhood boxer, Idrisa, introduced him to training in 2016. With support from his family and coaches, he returned after an injury and built a more structured approach to the sport.
His account describes balancing morning and evening training with work selling car parts. A contact through a friend led him to Florent Dervis and then Reyes Boxing. He dates his agreement with Tunal to May 2025, describing it as an important step in a journey built through patience and persistence.
