MORE THAN A RECORD.
Samir began amateur boxing at sixteen in Fumel. A French federation feature recalls his return to a rural school to encourage children through sport. That connection with younger people adds another dimension to the fighter.
RMC’s December 2023 interview looks back on his French and EBU European titles. These are dated career landmarks; later interviews also describe changes in his training environment, so an old team description should not be read as current.
