02 / BEHIND THE GLOVES
A father’s dream. A son’s passion.
Malik grew up in Mingachevir, where sport was an important part of his surroundings. His father introduced him to boxing at five, carrying dreams that circumstances had kept him from pursuing himself. Over time, Malik discovered his own passion, set his own goals and made the ring an essential part of his life.
He later moved to Baku to pursue his career and training. Difficult periods taught him patience, concentration and persistence. Even when he considered stopping, family support and the wish to represent his country brought him back to work. Determined inside the ring, he values calmness and respect outside it.
03 / THE JOURNEY
International experience. The next challenge.
In his questionnaire, Malik lists Azerbaijan, European and World Cup titles; the editions and governing bodies still need to be specified. His qualification for Paris 2024 in Bangkok is independently documented by Azerbaijan’s National Olympic Committee and the EUBC. Representing his country at the Games is among his strongest memories.
He describes a tactical, disciplined and determined style. With coach İgrar Hasanov and the Neftçi team, he wants to carry that experience into professional boxing.
